Yellow Moon | Fundraising for Schools

It was back in 2001 when Yellow Moon Director, Patti Baker was searching for alternative ways for schools and groups to raise extra money aside from the hard work and dedication of volunteers at organised events such as the Summer Fair, Sports Days or monthly cake stalls. Having supplied organisations for several decades via her successful mail order company Baker Ross Limited, Patti used her fundrasing experience and launched the YELLOW MOON Fundraising Scheme.

So with the minimum of hassle, Yellow Moon offers schools, groups and charities a chance to raise funds all year round, without the additional workloads of admin, selling, deliveries and the collection of money, Why?, because Yellow Moon does all that for them. All that is required is for the distribution of the Yellow Moon catalogues, which are supplied free of charge, to parents and supporters of the school or charity and then simply encourage them to place an order via the Yellow Moon website.

At the outset, Yellow Moon started with just the one catalogue per year, but now three issues are published for organisations who have joined the Yellow Moon Fundraising Scheme to distribute to parents and supporters. Each time someone makes a purchase their nominated organisation receives up to 25% cash back  on the order total excluding the  VAT and p&p of their order.

Since the lauch back in 2001, over 18,000 schools and groups have collectively raised more than £2.35 million thanks to Yellow Moon. Each organisation use the money raised in different way with some using the money to fund exciting projects such as the extension of a nature garden, roof repairs, new playground equipment, musical instruments and lots more.
