Currys | Electrical products with you in mind

Well we all pretty much know about Currys, but here’s what we have to say about them. Currys are considered as the UK’s biggest Electrical retailer and offer one of the most extensive product ranges online. Their range covers all electrical categories such as kitchen appliances, digital vision, DVD, home theatre, audio and photographic technology but also offer a toys and games category featuring electronic learning toys, robots, kids electronics and interactive toys.

Whilst operating online, Currys have listened to their customers which has allowed them to fine tune there service to their ever growing customer base. As an example, Currys Delivery options have been developed to allow customers the flexibility to not have to stay in all day to receive their products.  Something that has since been adopted by many merchants operating online. Delivery is offered at pre-defined hourly or 4 hour time slots – generally between 2 and 5 days from a confirmed order, 7 days a week. Despite an order be made for home delivery, should a customer not be satisfied or simply wish to return and item , they can easily return online purchased products to a Currys store local to them.

Another great feature of the Currys set up is their Reserve and Collect service. Customers can also reserve items online, then go and pick up at their local branch eliminating the need to wait for items, which in many instances are so eagerly awaited!

Well, you may or may not be aware but Currys recently launched their Currys Recycling Scheme. New legislation came in to effect on the 1 July 2007 which was put in to place to encourage people to arrange collection or recycling of old electrical products, rather than throwing them away.

The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment regulation, known as the Weee, encourages business and consumers to arrange collection or recycling. As Britain’s biggest electrical retailer, Currys were in a strong position to support this. That’s why when you buy from Currys, they will recycle your old product for free.
