Excellent sldie – perfect for the summer
This slide was purchased (courtesy of the Grandparents) for my 20month old daughter who seems to have developed an unstoppable urge to climb and thorugh herself of of anything even resembling a slide. So after much research and contemplation of which slide suited the bill opted for this Smoby and what a perfect choice it was.
It is bigger than the traditional baby slides so gives enough of a thrill to keep our adventurous madam happy. The steps are substanstial enough (more so than traditional rungs) such that she can climb with confidence and also unsupported (though we are there with a hand just behind for those moments of uncertainty). the handles are also big enough to ensure that she can hold on throughout her ascent.
Like all slides the end of the run seems a little elevated so she does end up with a little bump to the floor but in reality this seems to add to her enjoyment.
Another BIG plus is the water – yes I know sunny weekend are few and far between but connect a hose and place the end of the slide into a paddling pool with water and balls and you have the best safe baby water slide in the world – and the biggest grins on kids and parents alike. We had 3 using it over the weekend – 20 months – 2 1/2years and a 7yr old and all loved it! The hose needed to be taped into position (would have expected them to adopt some hoxelock style connector but instead you push it inside a pipe stub and expect it to stay). that aside it is a great slide and you will not regret a purchase.

Great Buy.
Bought this slide for my Daughter’s 2nd Birthday. She absolutely loves it.
The slide is bigger than the usual slides you see for this age range and is
a lot more sturdy than other slides we looked at. The water slide feature
is great as she can slide straight into her pool. Even takes the weight of the
big kids (Dad) when we are playing.

The PERFECT slide
I searched high and low for a suitable slide for my daughter’s second birthday and couldn’t find anything to fit the bill until i came across this one. It is higher than a toddler slide so will last that bit longer, but it’s steps are still very chunky or little ones who haven’t got the co-ordination to navigate small steps yet, there are large handles at the top enclosing it in more and providing support while they get into position and is a gradiated drop off at the end so they don’t land with a bump. It is marketed as a water slide, but you don’t need to attach the hosepipe to use it. To turn it into a water slide you essentialy attach a hosepipe to the underside and the water comes out of some raised holes on the top of the slide. The holes don’t interfere with the sliding activity and so i count it as a major bonus, it is essentially two slides in one. It is also very sturdy and has taken both my husband and my own weight with no problem, though it was rather a tight squeeze to get our bums between the handles 
. All in all it fitted all our requirements perfectly and i would recommend to anyone.

Nice pool not built to last though
It is a lovely size pool and my kids love it. Unfortunately it leaked air about 7 days after I bought it.(I have not found out if I can return it to get my money back but I will do.) Subsequently have met 3 other mums who bought one and had the same issue. Its not a pool that lasts or copes well with wear and tear sadly.

the pool is great but i found it took me ages to inflate and cleaning it well thats another story is there an easy way? i’d like to know if there is. i think i will be buying a smaller one next year.

Good look and size but not strong.
Can easily be damaged and hard to repair and use, as it can easily be damage again at the repair. It is not made from a strong material or put together hard enough to stand the pressure – I had about two of them. My kid could not use them for long – it get thorn – with out any external contact.
Sorry would not buy again.

Like having our own small swimming pool!
The pool is great. Trust me, it is large and well worth the money. Does not take too long to fill and holds a lot of water. You need to make sure it is on fairly level ground, otherwise the water travels to one side and the edge dips slighty but it’s not a problem. Empties well. The cost of postage/packing seems high but the parcel is very heavy.
